Nora Brooks is a crime writer whose fiction and cultural criticism has been published in H.O.W. Magazine, The Rumpus, and The Brooklyn Rail. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School, where she was a T.A. to Greil Marcus. An eighth-generation Oregonian, she lives with her husband and son on three acres just outside the city limits of Portland, Oregon.
